A few weeks ago, we had the pleasure of hosting a private floral class, and we had SO much fun with this group!

There's just something about getting together with friends, playing with flowers and seeing everyone's creativity come to life. And the best part? Everyone gets to take home something beautiful they made themselves! 😍

Did you know we offer PRIVATE floral classes? Girls' night, birthday celebration, team-building event or just an excuse to get your favorite people together, we'd love to help you plan something fun! And you don't have to be a floral expert. That's what we're here for! 😉

📞 Call Enid Floral at (580) 234-1252 to ask about booking your own private class.

🌸 The Faces of Enid Floral: Meet Matt! 🌸

If you’ve attended one of our Design & W**e classes, there’s a pretty good chance you already know this face! Matt is one of our incredibly talented floral designers and the guy behind many of the classes at Enid Floral.

He grew up around Cleo Springs, Fairview and Garber before making Enid home, and he’s been designing flowers for 25 years. But Matt’s love for flowers started long before that. Growing up, Matt spent time playing with flowers alongside his grandma, who had a beautiful yard and regularly gathered flowers to take to church, sick neighbors and friends. He even remembers going with her as a little boy to Flowerama at the mall to pick out flowers to take to the hospital and says he can still remember the smell of the flower shop to this day ❤️

Years later, Matt took a floral design class in Alva and the shop owner teaching the class needed holiday help. His first assignment? Five straight days standing in the same spot designing rosebud vases for Valentine’s Day 🌹😂 From there, he went on to work at Fairview Flowers for two years…and 25 years later, he’s still creating. And if you’ve seen what Matt can do with flowers, you know those rosebud vases paid off. 😉

Let’s get to the fun stuff 👇

🌺 If you could only use 3 flowers in an arrangement, what are you picking?
Green hydrangeas, peonies … and blue thistle purple stock and free spirit roses. I can’t just pick 3!

🎶 What are you listening to while you work?
I’m not listening to anything mostly. Just background noise (Melissa’s Teleanovela it’s always so loud)

🍽️ What is your favorite local place to grub after working hard designing beautiful things?
Mama Tita’s is my go to. Love the street corn!

Then we’ll provide the flowers and help you turn it into something beautiful. 🌸
