Texture is doing a lot right now.

Fluting has been building for a few years and this year it felt fully mainstream. Vertical ribbing showed up on tile, vanities, islands… definitely not subtle.

But what really caught my attention?
Leathered finishes on appliances. That depth and softness on something usually sleek and industrial? So good.

And the built-in wireless charging in countertops, that’s the kind of tech I love. Integrated. Practical. Not screaming for attention.

Wellness features are also moving into “expected” territory — heated tubs, hot/cold plunges you can control from your phone.

The overall vibe?
More personality. More texture. Less sterile.

Spaces felt layered.
