WE’RE GROWING OUR INSTRUCTOR TEAM!
The Potter’s House Art Studio is looking for creative, dependable people who love pottery and would enjoy helping others learn.
We’re not looking for just one type of instructor. We’re interested in people who may be able to help with:
• 5-week beginner pottery courses wheel throwing, handbuilding, finishing and glazing
• Wheel-throwing classes and one-time experiences
• Handbuilding workshops
• Specialty pottery workshops
• Pottery painting / canvas-style painting techniques on bisque
• Other creative classes you may have experience teaching
You do not need previous teaching experience. If you have solid pottery skills, enjoy working with people, and are willing to learn how we run our classes, we provide paid instructor training.
We’re also flexible about commitment. Maybe you want to teach a workshop once a month. Maybe you’d like to teach a couple times each month. Or maybe you’re interested in taking responsibility for one of our recurring 5-week pottery courses.
