DON’T WORRY if you already started that prune!!!
The temps aren’t warm enough to influence much growth neither are they cold enough to put us in a hard freeze that’ll damage tender cuts. And remember snow is insulating. This will all be just a memory after the weekend.
I’m more concerned about all those hundreds of cars of skiers and snowboarders that are now stuck here in town trying to get up 410 to Crystal. I think they’re hoping beyond hope that 410 reopens soon. But I do hope they got the word that Crystal just closed for the day. 🤷🏼‍♀️
Maybe they’ll stay in town and create some revenue for us here in Enumclaw. And hopefully you can stay in where it’s warm and dry and peaceful.

FOR those of you who did not do your lavender pruning during the fall… THIS is your moment!

With the mild winter we’ve had…
➡️ NOW ⬅️ is your springtime pruning window for our area!!!
I’d suggest you complete your spring prune by the 10th of April, with the 15th being the very latest.
With the business closed, we tore out a lot of our lavender so we’re down to 230 plants (from 350) to prune now 😊
And YES!!! WE WILL have fresh lavender for sale this summer 💜💜💜
