Funny story… 😂 When I was little, I always thought Dad went to Candy Prep. 🍬

So when I spotted this button while digging through Comics and Kitsch’s endless supply, I HAD to Google it to see if it was from the Kanty (or Candy 😂) Prep Dad went to.

SURE ENOUGH! It was! ❤️

Now, here’s where I need your help, Erie! Who went to Kanty Prep with my dad, Frank Fiolek… aka Alfred E. Newman? 😂🙋‍♀️

It’s a small Catholic school, so I have to imagine there are a few of you out there who knew him back in the day! Did you go to school with him? Know him by his nickname? We’d LOVE to hear your memories!

⚓ FUN FACT FRIDAY ⛵

Fun fact: a sailboat’s KEEL is the heavy fin underneath that keeps it upright. 🌊

Even funner fact: a store manager with NO keel and a muddy pond shore will absolutely slip. One leg, straight into the water. 😂💦

The little sailer floated like a champ. The big one refused to leave the shallows. And I got a very soggy October outfit (but not as soggy as our August Moonlight Market!). Thanks for the lesson, Jim! 🙃
