Do the things you used to talk about doing but never did. Know when to let go and when to hold on tight. Stop rushing. Don't be intimidated to say it like it is. Stop apologizing all the time. Learn to say no, so your yes has some oomph. Spend time with the friends who lift you up, and cut loose the ones who bring you down. Stop giving your power away. Be more concerned with being interested than being interesting. Be old enough to appreciate your freedom, and young enough to enjoy it.

But wait..... there's more....

This is not cliche bu****it. This is facts from my experience. I heard the words with little effect until I did the inner work. But it's true. Like, for real for real. The more you know and love and are at peace with yourself, the less things get to you. The more polished and less easily irritated you become. The less subject you are to give af what other people think about you. And I'm not talking about that idgaf defense mechanism bu****it which is just denial that you care. I'm talking it can't harm you.

Make a conscious effort to truly KNOW the entirety of the beautiful, imperfect human being that you are. If you so choose, do your best to be the highest form of YOU, that you can be. And what you'll gain is peace. What you'll gain is serenity. It's real.

The steps work. Spiritual progress is real. Take a chance on yourself. Grow. Create a firm foundation and solid structure. We don't have to be a house of cards that can be blown over by the wind anymore.
