(Swipe➡️ for the transformation!) ✨MOODY & BOLD ✨ Our Stamford kitchen is done, and we just love this little peek into the mud room. Although we refinished the hardwood throughout the entire space, we opted to keep tile underfoot in the kitchen and mud room for durability and ease of cleaning (a certain beloved golden retriever is known to track mud in). We opted for larger format porcelain that mimics the look of limestone to minimize grout and create a current look. Added an arch, because we LOVE arches! A full-height pull out pantry offers plenty of storage. What do you think?

Our advice to clients who are nervous about bold design decisions? Three words: go for it! As professional designers, we understand where to push your design forward and where to scale back - we will find a way to make your space feel decisive yet effortless, and you’ll be glad you took the leap!

(Swipe for before➡️) Simple changes made all the difference in this once-cramped primary bath.

In this full-townhouse remodel, we stole space from an awkward adjacent laundry/closet to make this primary bath footprint larger; we also opted for a counter-to-ceiling mirror to give the illusion of a larger space and reflect the beautiful porcelain shower tile surround.

Hi! I’m Stephanie, the owner and lead designer at Sponzo Interiors in New Haven. It’s my goal to never design the same space twice; no two clients are alike, so it follows that each space we create should have its own singular personality. (Swipe for before!) Our “surprise and delight” kitchen is done, and it has all of the personality and whimsy we were hoping for. Everything in this space is inspired by our focal wallpaper mural by ; rich cerulean, deep plums, and a sense of playfulness reflect our client’s love of color and joyful personalities.

This project, though small in scale, couldn’t hold a bigger place in our hearts:

A meditation room for a client whose schedule is always moving, where she can hold space for herself each and every day. It includes grass cloth walls, a custom designed and hand-made solid table made using traditional Japanese joinery, and a stunning ceramic installation by that evokes flowers being carried on a gentle breeze. Meditation cushions are upholstered in textiles from one of Italy’s most storied mills, and gentle spotlights create a calming glow on the textured walls.

Wall-mounted faucets are a great way to add interest to a bathroom. They offer a distinctive look, and also make cleaning easier by reducing the amount of seams on your countertops. We were so excited when this client trusted our vision and approved these faucets - the result is gorgeous!
