Mahogany rolling island cart, ready for delivery!

This island has fully adjustable rollouts and touch to open hardware from Blum, sleek and simple, constructed out of Quartered Sapele Mahogany for the exterior and Maple for the interior, the island will be finished on site when it receives it's marble countertop with waterfall edges on either side to finish it all off.

We've been working with character grade materials more and more lately, they create a dramatic appearance that you just can't get from select grade. It's quickly becoming one of our favorite things to work with.

This vanity was made of character grade White oak, with a matching towel cabinet on the other side of the room. Additionally there's a pull out stool underneath the vanity as well for the homeowner to use when doing hair or makeup.

Theme of the month is definitely mantles and built-in bookcases. These mantles are part of two millwork projects we have going out the door later this week with another set underway. The extra deep mantle was designed in house for a local project and will be flanked by two bookcases with plenty of storage. The shallower mantle, designed by Bethany over at .garchinteriors has a similar setup with flanking cabinetry.

Some photos of a local we are doing in

The first phase of the project involved working with the client to get the kitchen design completely dialed in to address all her needs, handling the design work in house to do so. We used to create 3D models of the kitchen, swapping out moldings, paint colors, counter materials and door styles to show the client exactly what she would be getting with her millwork package and to ensure all elements of the design were to her satisfaction. Once we had the design dialed in we proceeded into fabrication and installation.

The next phase of the project will focus on the fireplace surround as well as bookcase built-ins, also completely designed and built in house for a seamless transition between the kitchen and living room spaces.

Custom curved door casing with our planer/Molder. We assembled our blanks out of poplar, joining individual segments of the molding blanks with dominos to create a strong and lasting joint. Once those were made we rough cut them to size and were able to feed them through the molder to cut the profile.

Freshly completed dining room table, delivered after passing a thorough quality control inspection by our shop cat, Winnie. Built from rustic grade black walnut with a rubbed and distressed finish, this table was built to have antique charm while still retaining modern functionality with modern drawer hardware concealed with cleverly designed handcut drawer boxes.
