Realized I don't have a pic of this piece on the grid yet so here we go!

In the new year I really want to focus on larger panels like this one, and just pieces that creatively engage me more. I'm trying to stray away from making things with the goal to sell them, because then I end up making things I know will sell and repeating the same, less complex, and smaller designs over and over, and then getting burnt out. I've always tried to strike a balance with this, but now with a full time job and more interests taking up more of my time, I really want my glasswork to encompass more passion projects 🧡

I've been working on this piece for wayyy too long but here it finally is! 🦝

This one was a gift for an old manager of mine turned friend who has supported me in so many different ways and really was just the best boss and is so deserving of a cool glass piece!

I've been trying to step away from this craft as a more businessy venture and get more back into making things I want to make, gifts, etc. so this was a a good step in that direction.

But with that said... I'll be at with this Saturday 12/13 from 9-3 slinging some glass pieces! Hope to see you there for some handmade and local holiday shopping! 🎄

This piece feels symbolic of rebirth and new beginnings. I usually don't attribute much meaning to any of my pieces but this one feels special. As soon as I came up with this design and color palette, I knew I was so excited about this piece, more than I've been about one in a while. This is the first piece I've made in our new home and my new studio, and the first piece I've ever really gotten to intentionally hang and set up in a space. Finishing this bright and colorful piece as spring is starting feels even more like a celebration of a new chapter ✨️

Howdy! It's been a minute! One, since I've created anything and two, since I've worked with resin!

The last few times I'd worked with resin I was getting really inconsistent results and it was getting pretty frustrating working so hard on these designs and wasting materials for them to not cure correctly. But I got some new resin and I think we're back in business!

It also feels soooo good to be creating again ✨️

Here's the second of two pup portraits I had the pleasure to make a month or so ago for someone to gift 🐾

Hope everyone is having a great holiday season and is enjoying some rest, yummy food, and good company!

I'm eagerly awaiting the setup of my studio in our new house and will be getting back to glass asap in the new year! Thanks for your patience over the last year as things have been a bit slower over here. I'm so excited to get back to creating and sharing and all in a new space! ✨️

Which look do you prefer?

Glass is so magical with how it changes in different kinds and angles of lighting! This mottled glass is more peachy pink when frontlit but turns into a bold orange when backlit. Super neat!
