I don’t have an explanation for what happened this week in my home state of Oregon. For these families the world is now a different place and my heart aches for them. There is little I can say or do to comfort them, but I can do one powerful thing, I can pray. I can pray that they will be comforted in knowing that they are not alone.
The sun came up this morning, but that doesn’t mean the darkness disappeared. And while I may not understand why God allows certain things to happen, I can still trust what He has promised…
One day, righteousness will prevail. Healing will come. What is broken will be restored.

Yesterday I posted a picture of using stencils on DSP to create pumpkins, today I finished these two cards using them. I used the Texture & Tone DSP for the pumpkins and the background paper. A little non-traditional, but I kinda like them. What do you think?

This sketch should be a fun one to create with once you get past the crazy measurements! Sorry for the 1/16", but it was the only way I could get it to look right. This is one of those sketches you can create with vertically or horizontally. All the same paper or different prints. Let see what you come up with!

Tuesday Crafty Tip: Stenciling on Autumn Opulence DSP
Just look how cool the print of the DSP comes through these stenciled pieces! I thought it would be fun today to do something a little different with my DSP, so I pulled out some cardstock vellum, some blending brushes and went to work. I first created some individual stencil with the Painted Pumpkin dies, I then used them and a tiny bit of ink to add color to the stencil shape onto my DSP. I then stamped them and die cut them out.

Need some leaves? I spent some time this afternoon finishing these little packets filled with hot foil leaves and I'd like to share! Post a picture of a handmade fall card that features a leaf and I will randomly pick several people to receive one of these leaf goodie bags filled with approximately 20 leaves.
