Can you guess what we did for these floors?…….. a RECOAT! This is something unique that we offer our clients and truly makes us stand out as the industry leader in hardwood flooring. It is ideal for maintaining the integrity of the finish of your floors. We recommend doing a recoat about 5 or so years after having your floors refinished. This helps with prolonging the longevity of the finish and widens the timeframe of needing a complete refinish. We start by deep cleaning the floors using our Bona Deep Clean System. We then lightly abrade the surface and apply 1 coat of Bona HD Traffic finish to them. This is a quick, inexpensive way to revive your hardwood floors. This home has an in floor electrical socket that they wanted to have access to but also wanted to be able to hide when it wasn’t being used. You’ll notice that the grain pattern is uninterrupted. That is because we used the one board to lay down as the flooring and then cut in the precise place to create a custom cover. You’d never know it was there (goal achieved!) .wood.flooring.leanne
