Did you know that Strapworks began with a love of rafting? Owners Tom and Donna Foster started the Sierra Whitewater Expeditions Rafting Company in 1973, taking guests on river trips all over California, Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. In 1975, they started Strapworks as a rafting supply company. More than fifty years later, we still love and serve the rafting community.

We hope you're all getting ready to have a great summer out on the water! When it comes to rafting and gear straps, we have you covered. And if you are thinking about becoming a professional raft guide, Outside has some tips to keep your career on the river growing strong.
