Our Rethink Business team toured Rexius's composting facility yesterday. It's incredible when you realize that our local food waste provides nutrients in soil products that are distributed not only here in Lane County, but also all over the US!

If you live in Eugene, Springfield, Veneta, or Creswell, you can put food waste directly into your yard/green debris cans at the curb. Make sure it's FOOD ONLY. No paper, "compostable" plastics, or other materials are accepted.

We hit the tile jackpot 🤩 A customer donated 5 huge pallets of tile today and it's all great stuff! Mostly high-end natural stone, glass mosaic, specialty textured tiles and more. Come check out what we have, our team is working hard to stock it all on the shelves!

A few snapshots from our recent Framing Basics class 🔨

Participants spent the weekend in our Community Education Workshop learning the anatomy of a wall, practicing safe material handling, and building full-scale framed wall sections! From measuring and squaring to working with framing tools, this class focused on practical skills that can be applied to real home improvement projects.

It’s always exciting to see participants build confidence while building something with their own hands.

We were happy to help support the beautiful Fire Horse sculpture featured at the AANHPI Festival at Guy Lee Elementary this past weekend by providing custom laser-cut flames made by our community educator out of reclaimed materials!
