This hot air balloon quilt made its way to its forever home today. I really enjoyed making this. I was a little nervous because it's my first machine-quilted baby blanket but I knew I wanted it made this way from the first time the idea popped into my head. I printed a couple of hot air balloon coloring pages off the internet and used them as a guide for my appliqué template. The ropes are hand embroidered onto the top layer and the baskets are made using a waffle knit fabric. As for the mountains, I just drew them on the cloud fabric and cut out the shape of the mountain and appliquéd those, as well. I hope it brings comfort to its owner after he makes his way into the world💙.

Halloween is just around the corner! Get your kiddos these super cute Trick or Treat bags which are quilted and reversible! My boys were able to fit a whole serving bowl full of candy in these bags and when Halloween is over they can be used, on their reverse side, for just about anything else! $15 each.

Welcome to Morning Glory Expressions! My passions include sewing, crochet and hand embroidery. All of my creations will be posted for sale on this page along with photos of projects I have done in the past and gifts I've made for friends and family. I will also be taking custom orders so feel free to come to me with ideas for what you want and I'll do my very best to create it. I'd greatly appreciate it if orders are placed at least 3-6 weeks ahead of time, depending on the project so that I can get it back to you in a timely manner.
