The Makers Apron Creative Reuse square for Pastels on the Plaza last weekend was kind of a concept piece. It's made entirely from the tiny chalk nubs leftover from other artists!
Artist Kati Texas used a chunk of wood to crush them into the concrete, then wet them into a thick pasty chalk paint. Effective and efficient!
Right next door, our own Wednesday crew Laura Keenados let us golden hour the sky on their own square.
What a beautiful day! Congratulations to North Coast Childrens Services for a great event!

NEC is walking the talk! They reached out to us, and sourced a bunch of supplies for their mask making from our cache of reclaimed materials!
