Creative Wood Concepts, LLC grew out of a lifelong woodworking hobby. I have always been interested in making wood products that related to kitchen and food preparation needs. I made some cutting boards as practical gifts for Christmas, weddings or anniversaries using a mix of both domestic and exotic hardwoods. A neighbor friend saw them, loved how they came out and asked if she could buy one. Se

lling these boards could help defray the cost of the shockingly expensive exotic hardwoods that I used to make them. After modest marketing, I sold several more cutting boards and took the steps necessary to turn this hobby into a viable business. We make custom design as well as offer in-stock cutting boards, serving trays, two - and three-piece trivet sets and four-piece coaster sets. In our cutting boards, we make standard 1 ½" thick boards and thinner, lighter ½" to ¾" thick boards. For the smaller cutting needs, we have boards that are 8"/10" x 10"/12" in size.
