A backsplash might seem like a small detail, but it completely changes the feel of a space.

It's one of those elements that's both functional and personal. It protects your walls from water and daily wear while giving you full creative control over the look and feel of your kitchen, bathroom, or laundry room.

Porcelain, ceramic, glass mosaic, natural stone, patterned tile. The options are endless, and every choice you make from the layout to the grout color makes it yours.

Come visit our showroom and see what's possible. We'll help you find the right tile and design a backsplash that fits your style.

Floors & More in Eustis is hiring a part-time sales associate! We're a locally owned flooring store serving homeowners, contractors, and builders across Lake County, and we're looking for someone reliable and personable to join our small team.

You'll work Monday, Tuesday & Saturday — about 20 hours a week. You'll greet and assist customers, learn our product lines, handle point-of-sale transactions and basic store operations, and support the owner and team with day-to-day tasks as needed.

Some retail, sales, or home improvement experience is a plus, but not required, just the right attitude and a willingness to learn.

This starts part-time, but we're growing and we invest in good people - there's a real path to more hours and responsibility over time. Send us a message at [email protected] or stop by the store to apply!

Hardwood flooring is a natural material, and it needs time to adjust to your home before installation begins. That process is called acclimation.

It usually takes a few days for the planks to adjust to your home's temperature and humidity. Skip it, and you risk buckling, gaps, or warping down the road.

Especially here in Florida, where humidity levels can swing, this step isn't optional. It's what separates a floor that looks great on day one from a floor that still looks great years later.

It's one of those details that doesn't get talked about enough, but it's built into every project we plan.

When you're not sure where to start, that's exactly what we're here for.

This customer came in knowing they wanted a wood look for their new modular home but wasn't sure what would work best. Anne walked them through the options, explained the differences in price and quality, and helped them find the right fit for their budget.

We even coordinated with the modular home company and the factory to handle measurements and delivery.

That's the kind of service you get when you work with people who genuinely care about getting it right for you.

There are three main carpet styles to know when you start shopping.

Cut pile is what most people picture when they think of carpet. Plush, soft, and cushioned. The density and pile height will change the look and feel, but it's the classic choice.

Berber is the looped style. It gives you a different look and a lot of versatility, but if you have pets that like to dig, the loops can get pulled up. Something to keep in mind.

Then there's patterned carpet, which is a mix of both. Cut and loop combined to create a textured, designed look. The options here are pretty endless.

When you come in to shop, knowing which style you're drawn to is a great place to start.

Your floor sets the tone for every room you walk into. It's the first thing you feel underfoot. It shapes the mood, the flow, and the overall feel of your home before a single piece of furniture is placed.

This space is a perfect example. One cohesive look running through the kitchen, dining room, and living area, tying everything together and making the whole home feel intentional.

Whether it's one material throughout or a mix of textures and styles, the right flooring doesn't just complete a room. It defines it.

Part five of the carpet series. Let's talk about what's underneath your carpet, because the pad matters more than you'd think.

If you're investing in new carpet, you want a quality pad to back it up. Pad weight makes a difference, and it really doesn't cost much more to go with a heavier option.

One thing we always recommend is a pad with a moisture barrier. Spills happen. Pet accidents happen. Baby accidents happen. A moisture barrier keeps liquid from soaking through to the pad so you can clean things up without lasting damage or lingering smells.

Our default on every quote is Mohawk's 8 lb memory foam pad with a moisture barrier.

When you come in, just know we're giving you quality underlayment from the start. That's where the real difference is made.
