Here’s another one of the shops I was lucky enough to be introduced to at the show a couple of weeks ago.  

is an amazing store in Northeast Minneapolis that is focused on keeping the maker community thriving.  They cater to many different types of crafters - both knitting and sewing!  

Butterscotch Sewing kits will be alongside beautiful and unique fabrics!  If you are in the Minneapolis area this store is a must stop!

So you may remember me mentioning that I have a workshop scheduled with a local Girl Scout Troop coming up. I designed a rainbow magnet for that workshop and loved how bright and cheery it turned out so I decided to add a cute little companion for it to launch as an official Butterscotch Sewing kit!

Getting ready for my very first trade show with this May 2024!

I am beyond excited to share Butterscotch Sewing with retailers in the Craft & Sewing world! I will be in the Pavilion - Booth 4219.

This just in…..

I know I’m no Cheryl Scott ABC7 or Iisha Scott but we have more winter ahead!

If your house is anything like mine when the kids have to spend too much time indoors we get a little squirrely. In order to keep the wrestling and the screen time to a minimum I have to be proactive and have activities for the kids to work on.

For me, having projects that they can work on independently is key because let’s face it - I can’t help three kiddos at one time.

Enter Butterscotch Sewing kits. These kits are self-guided. That means your kiddo scans the QR code and they are off and sewing with videos that walk them through all of the steps in a ton of detail. The videos are also broken up in small chunks so it’s easy to stop to take breaks.

The kits also come with all of the supplies so there is no running around to craft supply stores.

So let’s hunker down and sew together and I’ll keep working on my meteorologist skills.

First market of 2024 has been scheduled! Come see me at the Chicago Artisan Market February 10th & 11th! I will have a BRAND NEW Valentine’s themed sewing kit on hand and it will be super sweet! 🩷🪡🩷

The market will be at the Artifact Events Building - 4324 N. Ravenswood Ave on Saturday and Sunday from 10am-4pm. There is tons of FREE street parking!

Butterscotch Sewing will be a vendor at the Lycee Francais de Chicago holiday market!  I am so excited about this show and have been working hard on creating some brand new kits and a super fun interactive display piece (more to come on that later this week!)!  

Come stop by November 11th & 12th for the 19th edition of the bustling French market where many local and French artisans will be selling fine and decorative arts, home decor, jewelry, apparel, accessories, gourmet food and more.  

You can enjoy the wonderful Bistro, offering a delicious menu of authentic French recipes as well as a variety of entertaining activities for all ages.  The market is open to all, and a festive and unique way to get a head start on your holiday shopping!
