Twenty-five years ago we instantly fell in love with a 100-year-old farmhouse. We reveled in its unique architecture, old world craftsmanship and a chance to preserve history. All through the years since then it became the ultimate outlet to perfect both my artistic and carpentry skills. About My Business
My disdain for mass-produced furnishings lead me to the creation of many unique cust

om-made pieces. By combining a passion for historical materials with modern design, I was able to preserve a bit of the past into the future. Old barn wood was transformed into tables, bathroom fixtures, kitchen cabinets and anything else I could apply my artistry to. Broken Mexican tile was fashioned into beautiful mosaic inlays. Collected stones, shells and driftwood were melded with old growth wood to recreate natural beauty. About You

Originally constructed in 1999 this playhouse was looking a little worn and weathered. We thought we would give it an uplift so it looks nice again to be repurposed as a woodshed. A little paint and some decorative pieces make it look as good as old. One of a kind. One at a time.

My first grandpa project was a whole family collaboration. Design and build by myself, inside page painting and quote calligraphy by wife Liz, wall painting by daughter Rae, prop styling and room design by daughter/mom Madison, support and praise by dad/Tom and the ultimate recipient of many hours of reading pleasure Luka. Coming this weekend- excited to be part of the Evanston Woods show at Space 900, 816 Dempster.
Piece featured: live edge walnut entry table, expoy resin and turquoise powder with removable shelf. All my furniture work is custom made, one of a kind, one at a time.

Opening Friday 4/18 from 2-7p, Saturday 4/19, 11a- 8p, Demos 1-5p by Larry Libdeman and Mui Sensi.
Reception Saturday 6-8p, and open Sunday 4/20, 12-5p.

Long ago we had a system of bartering for everything we needed. A fellow artist and I worked out such an exchange. I received a spectacular painting that was done during the first Trump immigration debacle. It is especially relevant now as we revisit this policy abomination again. The painting found a perfect place in our home while the rustic wood bench resides in her new home. A mutually enjoyable exchange! One of a kind. One at a time.

Every piece of rustic wood I collect has a very specific project that it wants to live its next life as. I have been tasked with finding what that is and bringing it to life. The front panels and the top are all from the same piece. It was very pleased with its new look, placement and purpose but still holds fond memories of its original roots.

Rustic barn wood reborn as a media cabinet. Barns built 100’s of years ago, made from ancient trees makes this piece at least 250 years old. Each piece of wood I have collected has a special purpose. The trick is finding which piece to use for what. The front was made from one wide piece. One of a kind. One at a time.

Start with 60 individual hand poured mosaic inlay stepping stones, add river stones along the edges and you have a unique pathway through our recently redone garden. Planting credit goes to Liz-looks great now will only look better after time.

Live edge red oak with colored epoxy fill. I usually use this technique for tables but I had a request for this corner shelf. Walls always look straight until you try to fit a perfectly square piece into them! Happy endings however. One of a kind. One at a time. Wood credits go to
