Where will you find Kara?

I’m thrilled to share that I’ve accepted a new role as the Executive Director of Talent EVV with the Evansville Regional Economic Partnership! This next chapter will allow me to use my passion for education, leadership, and innovation to help grow talent and opportunity across our region. I’ll be leading efforts to connect employers, educators, and community partners—making sure our local workforce thrives and our people feel empowered to reach their full potential.

Where will you find MaryK?

I'm heading to Virginia to visit my sister in law and meet my great niece and nephew for a Gramma retreat I want to thank everyone for the prayers and support through my cancer journey. After an amazing chapter as Creative Lead with Craftastic, I’m officially stepping into a brand-new adventure — full-time with my nonprofit, Mudpuppy Palace!

As founder and co-director, I’m thrilled to finally bring our vision to life, starting with the launch of Marty’s Mobile Mudroom this summer! 🚐 Our mobile unit will bring nature-based STEAM programming to kids, families, and lifelong learners all across the tri-state area.

And that’s just the beginning — we’re also working toward building a permanent 4-acre campus in Mt. Vernon, Indiana! 🌿 Picture a place where a children’s museum meets a nature center, offering hands-on learning, outdoor exploration, and unforgettable experiences for all ages.

Today is a bittersweet day.
We are officially locking the doors at Craftastic for the very last time.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you — to every customer who walked through our doors, shared a laugh, picked out a design, or supported us in big and small ways. You made this journey full of joy, creativity, and unforgettable memories. Your loyalty, encouragement, and fun spirit kept us going every single day.

I also want to give a huge shoutout to our amazing team — your energy, faithfulness, creativity, and love made Craftastic what it was. I couldn’t have asked for a better crew to bring the vision to life. You’re simply the best.

This isn’t really goodbye… just “see you around!”
