For everyone who attended my “Sourdough Surprises” class at Thyme in the Kitchen yesterday evening, this is the bread that we shaped and put in the baneton at the end of class. I baked it this morning and it looks and smells wonderful. It shows a great oven spring, a well formed ear, and good blistering on the crust. All in all, a good looking batard of sourdough.
