Happy New Year, everyone. I've changed the name of this FB page from The Dancing Lamb to Cottagecore Crone for all my new activities with fiber and cottagecore living. I've been living a cottagecore lifestyle since before it was even a thing, and I'm looking forward to sharing all my activities with you. May you enjoy health and contentment in this new year. Hi, Low Technology Institute Readers! Scott Johnson of the Low Technology Institute and I will be leading "Flax to Linen" a three-part workshop on flax growing, processing, and spinning. This is an old skill that has nearly died out due to the rise of industrial machinery. Flax has a long history, and the process of turning it into useable fiber is incredibly satisfying.

If you want to learn to grow and process the flax, no experience is required. If you would like to learn to spin it into thread, intermediate to advanced spinning skill is required (that thread is really fine).

Space is limited to 12 participants, so enroll now. We'll have a waiting list if we fill up.

Scott Johnson and the Low Technology Institute are the reason we are called the Victorian Technology Institute. He took a look at what we were doing and gave us the name, and it stuck. Scott is doing some amazing work that uses little to no fossil fuels or electricity.
