This , The Wayward House takes a different path as a community comes together through a MealTrain® to support a family facing cancer. What begins as one home-cooked meal becomes part of something much larger: friends, neighbors, and loved ones sharing the weight, one small act at a time.
Instead of pushing a thrift cart and searching for vintage treasures, I’m filling a grocery cart and cooking for a friend and her family during an incredibly difficult season.
But this story is not about one person doing something extraordinary. It is about a community of people each choosing one practical way to help. Some cook. Some donate. Some deliver food. Some offer encouragement. Together, those individual acts become a network of support that reminds a family they are not facing this alone. That is what makes this more than a meal.
MealTrain® helps organize meals, donations, and other forms of assistance for families experiencing cancer, illness, surgery, grief, a new baby, or another major life event. It gives people a clear way to help while allowing the family to communicate what they actually need.

My hope is that this episode encourages someone to check on a neighbor, cook for a friend, organize support, or simply show up in whatever way they can. A single meal may seem small, but when an entire community contributes what it can, those small acts can carry someone through a very difficult time.
Please share this video so more people learn about Meal Train and the power of organized community support.

Because sometimes the greatest treasure we find is each other.
