For the third year in a row, Great Yarns is asking customers to join us in making creative fiber displays for the Everett Arboretum! This time we will focus on colorful pom-poms and other small ornaments to hang in the Arboretum’s entryway.
Please join us this Friday noon to 1:30 at Great Yarns, where we will provide yarn and tools to make pom-poms. If you aren’t sure how pom-poms are created, there will be staff & volunteers on hand to teach you the ways of the elusive *pom-pom maker*.
The “Deck the Boughs” decorations will be up during the entire month of December, so be sure to add that to your calendars. Go to www.evergreenarboretum.com for more details.

We thought we’d seen the last of Metamorphosis Sock cakes, but they’ve returned… We have 10 colors in stock now!
Although it’s called “sock” yarn, most of the projects on Ravelry are gorgeous shawls. Like everything Malabrigo, these colorways are unique and inspiring. Which is your favorite??

Released in celebration of Malabrigo’s 20th anniversary, Vientos (“winds”) is a 2-ply bulky-weight yarn composed of 100% superwash merino wool. This yarn is SO hot off the swift that we are one of very few shops to have it already. Slightly thicker than Mecha, but not as chunky as Noventa, it’s the perfect weight for a Northwest accessory. Limited quantities of the colors pictured here are on sale now— just in time for our regional LYS Tour!

Fontelle just picked up our 2025 LYS Tour merchandise this morning, and it’s on sale NOW. Tote bags are $24; zipper pouches are $16.
And passports are in full color, cover to cover(!), and they are free!

You’ll get a Ravelry code for the Shoreline Shawl when purchasing from our shop. This color also pairs beautifully with shades of Trinity or Seta Suri… Andrea Mowry’s “Birds of a Feather” shawl
is always a great pattern for this type of combo.
