a symbol of hospitality and the joy of sharing life together.

This pattern was named “The Sweet Life”
because my kids have sweetened mine in every way.
Living in Hawai‘i, doing life side by side,
learning to slow down, savor more, and be present.

Honu travel thousands of miles across the ocean, guided by instinct and memory.
They are born on shore, carried out to sea, and years later return to the very place their life began.

No matter how far they roam, they know where home is.

This honu print is named “My Reason,”
for the ones who give me a reason to return —
again and again — to where my heart belongs.
