The company was established in 1980 and has been part of the local community in the Trenton area ever since. Prior to 1980 the Pittsburgh Plate Glass company was servicing the Trenton area from their facilities right behind the current Ewing Glass and Mirror on Parkside. in 1980 when PPG closed , Steve McClenney the owner of Ewing Glass, who previously worked for PPG in the paint and glass divisio
n discerned the impact on the community with the loss of this service. Steve knew there would be a need for glass items such as mirrors, storm windows, replacement windows, screens, and table tops, so he decided to expand the business to cover these items. Through the years that followed , more products arose in the glass line that our customers needed, which now include: producing insulated glass window units on site, replacement windows and doors, frameless shower units and commercial store fronts. Today our staff is fully trained, and knowledgeable and ready and waiting to help you with all your residential or commercial needs.
