About the seller: Kayleigh Wood

Growing up my parents owned a retail craft store in Minnesota. I was surrounded by paints, markers, scrapbook paper, glitter… so. I would watch my mom create samples and my dad direct customers to the yarn isle. Color and creativity has always been around me and I want to share that with you. I'm 23 years old, I live in Excelsior Minnesota and am a Faith Formation

Coordinator, Teacher and first-grade teachers aid in Maple Grove. On December 12, 2021 I got engaged! My fiancé, Brady, is a Youth Director at a parish in Chanhassen. We will say I DO on October 22, 2022. I created KwoodsTreasures in the summer of 2020. I've always loved creating cards, paintings, pictures, mementos etc. so I decided to open an Etsy shop! I wasn't sure what I would make... I started with friendship bracelets, mason jars, paintings, and caricatures. Then I started doodling on old shipping labels and realized that I could make stickers!! Each sticker is hand drawn, colored and designed. I use pencil, markers and packaging tape to give it a glossy protective seal. I also make earrings, bracelets, necklaces and other random things! My favorite part is personalizing the envelope and packaging! Each envelope is always different. I add color, patterns, shapes, stickers, tape, magazine cut outs, etc. to your envelope because you are unique and deserve a little surprise in your mailbox. I hope you consider purchasing a little something (or a lotta something;) from my shop, you won't regret it!

KwoodsTreasures is grateful to have fulfilled over 500 orders since its launch. We value each customer by providing them with good quality products and service. Our mission is to share the hidden treasures of the Kingdom of God. Yes, we value our customers because they purchased our product but more importantly we see the dignity of all people and when we receive an order it is a beautiful opportunity to pray for them and share the love of Christ.

Let us not forget about these unborn children.
Our Lady of Guadalupe is the patron saint of abortions and unborn children. Let us ask for her intercession to chose life, to respect the dignity of every human being until God calls them home. Let us not see others as burden, may she pray for us to love and cherish everyone we encounter.

The Legend of Our Lady of the Bugs:
According to European legend, during a time when crops were being devastated by pests, farmers prayed to the Blessed Virgin Mary for protection. Soon after, tiny red beetles with black spots (what we now call ladybugs) appeared and miraculously saved the crops by feeding on the harmful insects. In gratitude, the farmers named the beetles "Our Lady’s bugs" in honor of the Virgin Mary, a name that remains to this day. The ladybug came to symbolize protection, hope, and divine intervention.
Red wings are thought to represent Our Lady's red cloak, and the 14 black spots are said to be for her 7 sorrows and 7 joys.
