Mandeville Canyon Designs was born in 2004 in an effort to bring about affordable decorating in a way that would also be in harmony with nature. Whenever possible we chose to use renewable resources that have less environmental impact on the home and the family within. Our design ideas intend to invigorate all the senses and celebrate the natural balance of design found effortlessly within nature.

We invite you to let your imagination explore the possibilities that can transform your house into a home.

From dark and dated 1980’s bathroom to Moroccan-inspired sanctuary ✨

This renovation completely reimagined a challenging layout that once featured a dangerous step-down shower, glass block walls, poor lighting, and no space for a tub.

Inspired by our client’s travels throughout Asia and Africa, we transformed the space into a spa-like retreat. By completely reconfiguring the layout, we were able to provide a generous vanity, along with custom arched niches.

Heated floors and a soaking tub designed for stargazing create the ultimate space to relax.

Color drenched in Sherwin Williams Rosemary, the entire room now feels intimate, restorative, and deeply connected to nature.

California living, reimagined. In this fully redesigned kitchen, we layered an organic palette of muted, earthy tones to let the homeowners' colorful art collection truly shine. Instead of competing, every element, from the deeper neutral furnishings to the creamy taupe walls, was chosen to support and elevate the collection.

Texture became the quiet luxury here: rich porcelain countertops with subtle blue and brown movement, tactile finishes, and warm wood tones all working together to create a space that feels grounded, relaxed, and effortlessly refined.

True luxury lies in creating spaces that feel as good as they look.

Welcome to our California project! We’re so excited to finally share this one.

Our clients came to us with such a great sense of style (always the best place to start), but the home itself felt dated and didn’t reflect how they wanted to live.

They wanted a space that would give guests privacy when they wanted it, while still creating opportunities to gather, both indoors and out.

So we reimagined it. 😊

Every space was thoughtfully considered to feel more connected, more flexible, more intentional, and far more aligned with their lifestyle.

This transformation is a fun one!

Be sure to keep following along as we share more details of this special home.

Custom furniture. Custom art. Custom everything.

Your home shouldn’t look like anyone else’s.

We don’t design cookie-cutter spaces. We design homes that feel personal, layered, and full of character.

Every detail is intentional.
Every finish has a point of view.
Nothing is there “just because.”

It’s the difference between a space that looks good, and one that actually feels like YOU.

If you’re ready for a home that feels a little more considered, this is where thoughtful design makes all the difference.

There’s something about a bedroom that should feel like a true exhale at the end of the day.

But that doesn’t mean it has to be quiet.

In this space, we leaned into color and pattern to create something that feels both playful and relaxed.

The palm-inspired wallpaper brings movement and personality, while the soft, sun-washed tones of the walls keep everything feeling warm and grounded.

It’s layered, a little unexpected, and designed to feel as good as it looks.

Even the seating was thoughtfully considered, placed to take in the view and create a moment to pause.

The kind of space you settle into… and don’t want to leave.

If you’re thinking about refreshing a bedroom or guest space, this is where thoughtful design can make all the difference.

Talk about an upgrade. 😲

There’s a big difference between getting ready in a space that feels dark and outdated, and starting your day somewhere that feels calm, fresh, and thoughtfully designed.

This bathroom was fully reimagined to do exactly that.

We introduced a floating white oak vanity to bring warmth and openness, paired with floor-to-ceiling tile and a custom shower that replaced the old, step-up shower and now makes the entire space feel elevated and cohesive.

Every detail was considered, not just for how it looks, but for how it feels to live in every day, because we think that your home should support your routines in a way that feels effortless.

And when it’s done well, even the most functional spaces become something you truly enjoy.

Now you see it… Now you don’t.

At first glance, it’s a relaxed, open casita designed for everyday living.

But hidden in plain sight?

A custom Murphy bed with an integrated Samsung Frame TV allows the space to comfortably sleep four guests without sacrificing how it feels day-to-day.

Because in a smaller footprint, flexibility is everything.

And when it’s thoughtfully designed, you don’t have to choose between function and beauty. You can have both!

👉 If you’re designing a guest space, this is where thoughtful planning can really make a difference.
