And just like that… our 3rd Shaker Woods is in the books!

And what a year it was!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by our booth, shopped with us, or just popped in to say hi. We truly love being part of Shaker Woods. There’s something pretty special about spending those weekends under the trees, surrounded by great people, doing something we love.

So much work goes into getting ready for Shaker, and then somehow those three weekends are over in the blink of an eye. We’re tired, our feet definitely know we’ve been at Shaker, but we wouldn’t trade it.

Now it’s time to start cleaning out the booth… and thanks to all of you, there’s so much less to pack up and bring home! ❤️

Thank you for making year 3 such a good one.

And just like that… the 45th Annual Shaker Woods Festival has come to a close. 🌳❤️

Three weekends, thousands of visitors, countless memories — and so much to be thankful for.

To everyone who walked through our gates, supported our artists, enjoyed the food, listened to the music and spent a little time with us beneath the trees… thank you.

The Woods are quiet tonight, but what a wonderful three weekends it has been.

More thank-yous and memories to come. For tonight, we’ll simply say — thank you for an incredible 2026. ❤️🌳

❤️ THIS is one of our favorite parts of Shaker Woods.

We love when people who purchased something from us in previous years stop by our booth and tell us they’re still loving it. Even better? When they share a picture of where it ended up in their home!

Check out this handcrafted charred American flag displayed above their stone fireplace. We may be a little biased, but we think it looks like it was made for that spot!

When we’re in the shop making piece after piece, it’s easy to forget that they eventually become part of someone’s home. Seeing photos like this makes our day.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Things By Wings over the years. We truly love seeing where our creations end up. ❤️

This is why we love making suncatchers.

Today at Shaker Woods, the sunshine gave us the perfect chance to show what these look like when the light hits them just right.

Our bear suncatcher caught the sun perfectly, sending those bright little pops of color onto the wall behind it. We don't always catch the sunshine at just the right angle to show this off in the booth, so today was a fun one!

Every step I take… Penny and Sheldon are right there. Move to another room? They move too. Turn around? There they are. 👀🐾

Apparently personal space is not included when you have dogs. 😂❤️

A little behind the scenes look at one of our American flags coming together!

Each piece is assembled by hand right here in our workshop, although we may have given Josh a tiny speed boost for this video. 😂

There is something pretty satisfying about watching all those individual pieces finally become a flag.

Well... weekend one of Shaker Woods is officially in the books! ❤️

And what a weekend it was.
We were BUSY, in the very best way. So many familiar faces stopped by, we met a whole lot of new ones, and quite a few of our handmade pieces found new homes.

After all the weeks of building, painting, sanding, packing, and setting up, there's something pretty special about finally getting to stand in that booth and share it all with you.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by this weekend. You made our first Shaker weekend a great one!
Now it's back to the workshop because we have some restocking to do. 😂

We'll be back at Booth 227 this weekend!

What a way to end setup day.

As we were leaving Shaker Woods this evening, we were greeted with this incredible sunset. It felt like the perfect way to wrap up a long day of getting everything ready.

Our booth is stocked, the finishing touches are done, and now all that's left is to welcome everyone.

We're looking forward to a beautiful weekend, meeting familiar faces, making new friends, and sharing everything we've been working on.

One torch. One frame. A completely different look. 🔥

This is one of those steps that completely transforms the wood.
By hand charring each frame, the natural grain comes to life and creates the rustic finish that pairs perfectly with our engraved picture pieces.

It's one of our favorite transformations to watch, and no two frames ever turn out exactly the same.
