For today's Design of the Day, I'm going to showcase all three of these little cuties! 🐣 🐥 🐤 By far the smallest pieces I've ever made, these chicks are cut from quarter inch thick white oak or cherry wood, which is then stained yellow. ☺️ From left to right, there's my Fruit Lovin' Chick (3x3 inches), who has a banana in her chest and an apple in her belly!🍌🍏 Next is my Breakin' Out Chick (4x3 inches), who has a cracked egg in his belly, a further broken egg in his back, and under his neck, a chick who just broke out of it's egg, with egg shells all around! 🥚😁 Finally, there's my Hungry Chick (3x3 inches), who has a worm on his wing and a bug in his belly! 🐛🐞😊 These tiny little guys were created to go with their parents, my Rooster and Hen wall art, and as you can see, they make the most adorable little family. 😍☺️ I'll have all of them with me at the Fall into Shopping pop-up shop in Memphis on the 22nd. Hey Memphis!! I'll be doing my first pop-up shop in your city! If you love animals, then you'll want to come check these beautiful pieces out. I make wall art, with many things hidden inside of them. 😁😁😎😎❤️❤️ Here's a few of the animals I'll have with me. Today's Design of the Day is this peaceful beauty, my Boreal Owl and Branches wall art!! 😊😊🦉🦉(isn't she so beautiful?? ❤️) This pretty baby measures about 14 9 inches and is cut from 1/8th inch thick white oak, although I could use multiple types of wood. The background is thin patterned acrylic, on northern lights! (I can visualize this piece with multiple backgrounds that would be beautiful however).

Today's Design of the day is this very beautiful girl here, my Hen wall art!! 🐔🐔😍😍 This piece measures about 12x9 inches and is cut from various types of quarter-inch thick wood (white oak is pictured).
She is hands down the fanciest chicken I've ever seen. 😁 Look inside!! In her neck, sunshine, some clouds and a chicken coop! Going down her chest, some favorite stuff of hers. Zucchini, corn, grapes, a worm, the chicken waterer, a bug and a grub! There's also a peanut a bit higher in her middle. ☺️ In her backside, an old barn, eggs, with one broken! Look near her heart. There's her chicks, with a heart above them. Above that heart, a snake head trying to get her babies! (it's body goes out and back into hers). Look to the right, and you'll see mama fiercely protecting her chicks. (her body was cut by one of her wing's defining lines so I just went with it). She's a stunning girl, and I've got a couple in stock, as well as her chicks. If you'd like to claim some of them for your own, send me a message here and we'll coordinate a way to get you your art. ❤️❤️

Today's Design of the Day is this little giraffe, my "Looking Up" Wall art! This piece measures about 11x5 inches, and is cut from various types of quarter-inch thick wood. (cherry is pictured). Did you guys ever see this pretty boy? This is today's Design of the Day, my Rottweiler wall art! ❤️❤️ This piece measures about 14x12 inches and is cut from various types of quarter-inch thick painted wood (mahogany is pictured).
I had a rottweiler in my youth so I thought of him when making this one. He's got a silly smiley face on his shoulder, because they really are goofy dogs at heart. 😊 Underneath this you'll see a mail slot, with mail coming through and a dog barking at this. Look to the right and you'll see a strong arm to represent their awesome strength. Next to that, a bone, a tennis ball and a butterfly. 🍖🎾🦋 He's also got a pretty cool spiked collar on. 😎

Today's Design of the Day is this playful little one here, my African Elephant Calf wall art!! 🐘😍 I designed this piece to go with my African Elephant wall art, and they look great together. It measures about 10x6 inches, and is cut from various types of quarter-inch thick wood (cherry is pictured). Hidden inside you'll see a tree of life, sunshine, a flower and fruit near it's heart, and an ostrich running near some long grass in it's backend. 😁

Today's Design of the Day was also a request, from the owner of an A Frame cabin. Here's my A Frame Alaska wall art! 😊 You'll see the outline of the cabin, with a fire pit in front of it. Next to that, a person and a chair. There's a lake or pond with someone fishing, with a fish and fish hook underneath. A dragonfly is flying past this scene. There's a paddleboard/kayak on the bottom with splashes of water. On the right side, an eagle, Northern lights and a moon, a birch tree, a forget-me-not, and a pair of boots. This piece measures about 13x11 inches and is cut from quarter inch thick cedar, laid over patterned acrylic. ❤️
