Sometimes, a single material becomes the starting point for an entire room!

For this powder room, it was the remnant slab. The moment we found this heavily veined stone, we knew it needed to lead the design direction so instead of treating it like an accent, we let it shape the space entirely.

From the warm brass fixtures to the softer wall tones and organic textures, every layer was chosen to complement the richness and movement of the marble without competing with it.

A good reminder that some of the best spaces start with one really good find!

The best projects are never one-sided.

They are conversations. Shared references. Evolving ideas. Trust. Collaboration. A client with a vision and a team there to help shape it into something deeply personal.

For this home, every layer was considered from the kitchen gut renovation to lighting, fabrics, furniture, wallpaper, and the final placement of art throughout the space. The goal was never just to make the house beautiful, but to make it feel completely reflective of the people living in it.

As our client shared, “It was truly a fun process, one of maximum collaboration.”

This room was all about creating a softer, more relaxed feeling through color, texture, and warmth — anchored by the blue-green paint that completely changed the mood of the space.

Scheming is rarely a straight line. It’s plugging things in, pulling things out, shifting tones, textures, and finishes around until everything starts speaking the same language. Sometimes you get lucky and nail it on the first try… but usually, the magic happens somewhere in the trial and error.

Your entry is where the whole story starts! It sets the tone, gives a glimpse into what’s to come, and quietly pulls you in. And while a grand moment is always nice, impact really comes from the details good lighting, clean sightlines, and materials that flow naturally into the next space.
