I’ve done Sunday Shoutouts for our team in the past, and as I was thinking about those posts, I realized something… I’ve introduced a lot of the people who help make Atwood’s what it is, but I’ve never really introduced myself to all of you who are newer around here.

So here is my Sunday story and how Atwood’s came to be what it is today.

Atwood’s started back in the 1980s with my husband Jeremy’s parents. In the mid-2000s, Jeremy and I took over the pumpkin and Christmas tree business. For years, pumpkins and Christmas trees were a huge part of our family’s life.

Then came the years of raising our boys, and I made the decision to stop growing pumpkins so I could focus on growing my boys. ❤️ We continued with our Christmas tree sales, and little by little, I started adding more décor and make-and-take classes. Before I knew it, that little side of the business had grown into something I knew I wanted to pursue.

So we took a leap.

And honestly, I couldn’t be more grateful for where that leap has taken us.

The home and gift side of Atwood’s has become something I truly love. But the Christmas tree side will always hold a special place in my heart. There are so many memories and relationships that have come from those years. Families who come back every Christmas, little kids who grow up coming for their tree, and conversations that turn customers into friends.

That's what I hope Atwood's continues to be! A place to find something you love.
A place to gather and create. A place to discover something new, and hopefully, a place where a few memories are made along the way!
