I was fortunate to spend the day with a great bladesmith- Rich Patterson along with my buddy Joseph Reuter .
We spent some time cutting with various blades to observe the cutting performance and food release.
Then Rich gave us some great instruction on how he grinds blades for performance as well as how he achieves a beautiful belt finish.
Rich, it was so nice to meet you. I am so grateful for the generous gift of your time and knowledge. I hope our paths cross again in the future.
Have a great time at Bladeshow in Atlanta.

My neighborhood store when I grew up
