I love sharpening handmade blades but this one was special.
Aaron Wilburn Aaron Wilburn was one of the first “big name” bladesmiths that I ever met.
I met him at a small show in Sacramento about 5 years ago- such a gracious gentleman. I am a big fan.
These are early pieces of his that were brought to me for sharpening by his cousin Kevin.
What a treat!

We haven’t had a for a little while. Meet Jake- a 6yo Belgian Malanois who lives with a really nice family. He came to the Martinez market with Anthony who is a retired Coast Guard K9 handler. Anthony graciously gifted me a beautiful challenge coin, which I will cherish.
