We haven’t posted in a couple of months (shameful)… the days and weeks get away from us and we are so grateful— that means BUSY! And with busy means growth so let me introduce you to our newest designer.. a familiar face to some of you as a past intern… and sharing the same name as me… it is an honor to have her a part of our design team officially!

Savannah’s journey began with an inherent passion for art and an unwavering love for all things design. Following her high school internship at The House, her calling to craft spaces became clear, propelling her to pursue a degree at the University of Alabama. Armed with invaluable experience and knowledge, she approaches each project with boundless enthusiasm and creativity driven not only to meet but to also surpass her clients’ expectations. Her meticulous attention to detail serves as the foundation for delivering interiors that stand the test of time with a specialty in custom millwork.

A hello from the owner:

I have noticed some new faces around here and wanted to introduce myself for those of you who may be new to our little slice of the design world. First and foremost, thank you for following along and for loving pretty spaces as much as we do. Second, I would love to take a second to let you in on all that we do and why we do it.. The House is a full service design firm comprised of three in house designers and a full administrative team. We take on projects from concept to completion. Whether you want to renovate, build from the ground up, refresh, revive, or need the finishing touches, a member of this incredibly talented team can help. It has been an absolute joy to turn houses in to homes and to comprise a team that can service just about any project. Our why is to create a home that reflects you and your family. A safe haven. A place to house the greatest of celebrations or the comfort needed in hard times. The place you can be authentically yourself and love your surroundings.

We aren’t the greatest at posting a “portfolio” and I absolutely should do better but with a full schedule and even fuller heart, there are things more important than Instagram a lot of days.

So, I thank you for supporting, liking, and trusting us with your homes. We adore each of you. Stick around. And of course.. come see us at The House.
