Treasures Past & Present is the retirement dream of Ann and Jennifer. These two ladies met in Mobile, AL, in 1979 and their friendship

has blossomed through the years. In 2014 they decided it was time to get their retirement dream started and begin to empty their attics of all the “treasures” each had collected over the years. Ann and Jennifer have always shared the passion of collecting, thrifting, and recycling and now with the development of Treasures Past & Present, the dream is a reality (and the menfolk are thrilled that they finally have an outlet for this passion). TPP offers an eclectic array of vintage, repurposed and contemporary items including furniture, collectibles, glassware, framed art, lighting, and more. Recently Ann and Jennifer found another love: Farmhouse Paint. This fantastic paint allows the artistic side to emerge with its easy-to-use application and awesome results. If you love painting furniture, glass, formica, metal, or any other surface, you will love this paint. Please see the Farmhouse Paint page on our website for more information. The Welcome mat is out so please stop by our two locations. You will enjoy seeing samples of furniture and other items painted in the endless combinations and techniques Farmhouse Paint has to offer.

Beautiful.. and the greatest of these is ❤️ love

This wild Kingfisher's grandparent, I found in the garden, nearly dead, some years ago. Nursed him back to health, and set him free. The next morning, the family swooped down, past me, in gratitude.
A couple of years later, I awoke to find the next generation, a parent of this bird, waiting for me on the terrace, his wing seemed broken. I picked him up and examined him. He never flinched, and stared deeply into my eyes. A thorn had locked his wing from operating. I pulled it out, and set him free. Without fail, he passes my window every day at the same time, crying out to me.
This baby, sat in the tree, eye to eye with me, then flew directly to my hand, and sat there for several minutes, before flying away.
Intuition, compassion, good intent, those essences of love, was all we had. Pure, unspoken.
An energy that has no end, and passes silently onward, much further than we can imagine.
