Suzi Q Creations I use this page to show friends and family what I have been making. I started to sew & quilt after my Mom passed away in Sept 2013.

I'm far from being a professional or having perfect items. My Mom had a business from stenciling to sewing. I am carrying on making things using her machines and supplies. She loved to make purses, tote bags and lunch bags under the name Ginny Lee Creations. I will be making different things but they will all be made with a little Ginny in them.

Hand embroidery, reverse appliqué
Sweatshirt I found in my mom’s stash. Fabric had from a previous project. Embroidery floss $1.14 (couldnt find what I have already)

The first photo with the 4 photos is from 2019 when I finished piecing the front together and added borders. I finally took it to get quilted this spring. I added the binding to finish the quilt today. So glad to have another complete. On to making more in my moms memory.

Not my favorite one. The mesh was different then the others I used. If i had a few more spools to make it fuller I would like it more. I found many spoils of ribbon in my mom’s stash so I used that to fill in around the wreath. It might still be a work in progress....
also would have spray painted the wreath frame white had I known it was going to be seen through the mesh.

Hello there SuziQ friends. I haven’t been posting because I haven’t been sewing. Lack of time and space has made it difficult. My dining room went from sewing room to office during the pandemic. So now, I have turned my “free” time to a new hobby. It’s usually while I sit in front of a fireplace watching netflix. 🙂
I like simple decor and when I can make it myself it means I saved $ and I get to enjoy it even more. I recently started making mesh wreaths. I have seen some online that go for $75-$100+. Those are the large very fancy wreaths that honestly won’t fit between my storm door and front door.
So, the following are wreaths I have made for myself, family and a co-worker for a fun cupid valentine thing at work. Enjoy!
