I will always love digging through vintage markets for pieces with a story… but sometimes vintage has its limits 😅

At Lucketts, I found the most beautiful hand-tufted antique rugs — the colors, the patterns, the old-world charm… perfection. But they also came with decades of old world dust and a price I couldnt justify.

I wanted that collected, lived-in look without worrying about what I was actually bringing into my home — and I found this one from that gives me all the vintage charm while still feeling fresh ✨

Nothing like a few new finds to motivate me to restyle a cabinet. 🤎

I came home from Lucketts Vintage Market with a few treasures, including this copper kettle and beautiful white ironstone tureen, and somehow that was all the excuse I needed to completely rearrange this hutch.
If you've ever wondered, antique and vintage aren't quite the same thing. Antiques are typically 100+ years old, while vintage pieces are generally at least 20–30 years old but not yet considered antiques. Both bring character, history, and that collected-over-time feeling that makes a home feel personal.

I'm especially drawn to copper and ironstone because they never seem to go out of style. The warmth of aged copper paired with the simplicity of ironstone feels right at home in almost any space.

A patio set that’s actually cute and practical 🤎 Gifted from and honestly… it’s passed the real test here because we’ve basically had a 3-week rain fest 😅 The wood-look finish still looks beautiful, the cushions have held up so well, and it gives that warm, collected feel I always want outside without the maintenance real wood needs.

A month later and I still have zero regrets about this wallpaper decision 👏🏼🤎 Honestly, it completely changed the feel of our bedroom and gave it that cozy, collected, high-end look I was hoping for.
I’ve used a lot of wallpaper over the years, and this one from .blush is still one of the easiest installs I’ve ever done. No peeling edges, no fighting the pattern, no “why did I start this project” moments 😂 Just a dramatic transformation that was 100% worth it.

There’s something about a rainy holiday at home that makes you slow down a little more. The coffee stays warm longer, the house feels extra cozy, and the little inconveniences suddenly don’t feel like inconveniences at all. 🤎

Today especially, I’m reminded how lucky we are to have quiet mornings, safe homes, and ordinary moments like this because of the people who gave everything for them. Memorial Day always feels like an important reminder that freedom was never free, and sitting inside listening to the rain is a privilege built on sacrifice. Grateful today.
