Everyone meet Jena Reeves! Jena has been with us for a year now and brings a sweet and youthful vibe to the store. Jena’s boss highlights that Jena is self-sufficient, friendly, hard working, and has great integrity. This is what Jena had to say about herself and working at HFC:

• What’s your favorite thing about work? “My favorite thing about work is making the candles, it’s a pretty cool process! I also love when Deb lets me help decorate a bit, I feel like I’m learning a lot from her!”
• What’s your favorite product we carry in store? “I love the beeswax wrap we carry! I’m pretty big into reusable items and it always comes in handy!”
• What is your favorite scent? “My favorite scent, especially for spring and summer, is lavender vanilla!”
• What do you do in your free time? “I’m a big book and movie girl so I love to read and watch movies! I also have a lot of animals so I enjoy hanging out with them in my free time!”

Our founders (Kim & Kris Vrtiska) started with paraffin wax but because of their farming background and desire for a safe and healthier product, quickly switched to 100% soybean soy wax. We could go on and on about why our wax choice matters, but we will let the picture speak for its self.
