I've recently come across several homes with wood flooring that appear to be "cracking". I've been asked what can be done about this? There can be many reasons for this but most likely it is caused by temperature changes within the home. Make sure the humidity level is correct. Correct humidity level in the home should be between 35 and 55%. This is a healthy range for both humans and for your floor.
How can you keep an eye on this?
