AI is kind of scary to me, and also amazing at the same time.
I was talking with a client and telling them I want to learn how to do photo-realistic renderings. I know how to use SketchUp, and the results are great and a really helpful tool, yet I still have a lot to learn about adding lighting and making them look more realistic than "cartoony". There are add-ons that I could learn, however they are relatively expensive and then there's the time to learn how to do it. And I really do want to learn how to do it myself, believe me. It's just a matter of finding the time!
My client mentioned possibly taking a snapshot of a 3D rendering I developed, and then have AI make it look photo-realistic, so I gave it a try. AMAZING!! I'm a little floored at what it can do, and it makes me feel better knowing that I developed the base of the image, and AI is enhancing it.
I'm still very skeptical of AI and what it will happen with it in the future, but this really is a game changer for me for presentations to my clients.
This is a kitchen I designed a while back, and now I can bring it to life and make finish changes relatively easily.
