🌙 NEW MOONSTONE SPHERES HAVE ARRIVED 🌙

And I need everyone to look at that flash.

Seriously. LOOK AT IT. 👀

These are some of the prettiest moonstone spheres we’ve gotten in, and I am ridiculously happy with the quality. The soft cream, smoky, and peachy tones are gorgeous on their own, and then you turn them just slightly and
BAM! Blue fire.

Moonstone has long been associated with intuition, psychic awareness, emotional wisdom, dreams, feminine mysteries, cycles, and new beginnings. It’s one of those stones I especially love for liminal periods, when something is ending, something else is beginning, and you’re standing in that strange little doorway between the two.

It’s also traditionally used for helping us move with change instead of trying to fistfight the tide.

Which is kinda rude advice from a rock, but occasionally the rock is correct. 😂

There is something beautifully deceptive about these spheres, too. From one angle they’re soft and earthy and almost understated… and then the light hits just right and that electric blue flash erupts across the surface.

Quiet does not mean powerless.

We got NEW BOOKS in. 📚

There’s a pretty good variety, but this particular haul is leaning heavily Celtic and Norse.

Naturally, I thought I could get Omen and Abyss to pose nicely with them.

I was wrong.

We tried bribery.
We tried negotiation.
We even deployed catnip.

At which point the entire situation deteriorated into whatever the hell you’re watching in this video.

I know you people.
I know at least half of you are going to watch this three times, say “BABIES 😭,” and completely forget I was trying to tell you we got new inventory.

NEW AT ECHOES: BRECCIATED JASPER

I brought Brecciated Jasper into the shop because a stone formed by being shattered and then fused back together—with its broken places still visible—feels extremely appropriate around here.

This is not the crystal equivalent of quietly sipping tea and pretending everything is fine.

Brecciated Jasper is traditionally associated with grounding, protection, courage, endurance, emotional stability, clearer thinking, stronger boundaries, and reclaiming your power after hardship. It’s especially useful during burnout, upheaval, or rebuilding—when you don’t need “positive vibes.” You need something that understands the situation has been an absolute sh*tshow and helps you plant your feet anyway.

Being broken open is not the same thing as being destroyed.

On this episode of Cat Shenanigans™:

Omen has decided that this scarab was unacceptable.

Not moved. Not knocked over. Not gently investigated.

Destroyed.

And listen… a black cat ceremonially breaking an Egyptian scarab feels way too symbolically specific for me to start asking questions.

I don’t know what ancient agreement was violated. I don’t know which god she has beef with. I don’t know if this was an omen from Omen or simply property damage with ✨mystical undertones✨.

What I do know is that I am not about to interfere in whatever Egyptian cat-god business is currently unfolding at Echoes.

That seems above my pay grade.

The scarab has been judged. The sentence has been carried out. We respect her process. 😂

🌕 YES, YOU CAN WORK WITH ECLIPSE ENERGY 🌑

Apparently TikTok has decided eclipses are terrifying cosmic chaos portals and everyone should hide until the Moon stops being suspicious.
No. Just no. 🙄

We do not sow fear here. And we are not afraid of the Moon. Come on, people.

Eclipse energy is just different.

I think of it like looking through a glass of water instead of straight through a window. The image is still there, but the light bends differently. Things can look distorted. Hidden things can become visible or something you thought you understood may suddenly look very different.
That makes eclipse energy powerful, strange, liminal, and sometimes uncomfortable.

It does not make it dangerous.

Tonight’s Partial Lunar Eclipse and Full Moon is at about 5° Pisces, opposite the Sun at about 5° Virgo.

And that opposition matters.

♍ Virgo says: What is practical? What needs fixing? What is actually working?

♓ Pisces says: What do you feel? What needs surrendering? What is happening beneath the surface?

Virgo wants the spreadsheet.

Pisces has wandered barefoot into the fog carrying a tarot deck. 😂

The work here is not choosing one over the other.
It’s integration.

Give your dreams structure.
Bring intuition into the practical world.
Know what needs fixing—and what needs releasing.

And yes, you can absolutely do spiritual or magical work with this eclipse.

This is beautiful energy for:
✨ divination and shadow work
✨ releasing old emotional patterns
✨ cleansing, cord-cutting, and boundary work
✨ dreamwork and meditation
✨ confronting something you’ve been avoiding
✨ identifying illusion, projection, or self-deception

I wouldn’t treat eclipse energy exactly like an ordinary Full Moon and casually throw intentions at it without understanding what I’m working with.

But different does not mean “do not touch.”

Know the energy. Respect the energy. Work intentionally.

And one important astrology note:
Your Sun sign alone does not tell you how this eclipse affects you.
The biggest question is:
Where do about 5° Pisces and 5° Virgo fall in your birth chart?

The sign tells us how the energy behaves.
The house tells us where it happens.
The aspects tell us what else gets dragged into the meeting.

If you have planets or important chart points near those degrees—especially in Pisces, Virgo, Gemini, or Sagittarius—you may feel this one more strongly.

So no, I’m not going to tell you to be afraid of tonight’s Moon.

Go outside.
Look at her.
Pay attention.

NEW AT ECHOES — DUMORTIERITE 💙

For the people currently attempting to wrestle their own brain into submission: may I present Dumortierite.

Deep blue, stormy, and considerably more interesting than pretending everything is fine.

Dumortierite is traditionally associated with mental discipline, focus, patience, intuition, and clear thinking. It’s a stone I especially like for moments when the problem isn’t that you don’t know what needs to happen — it’s that your thoughts have formed an unruly little council and everyone is yelling at once.

It’s often used for:
