🐒🍪 Meet the Baker Behind Spider Monkey’s Bake Shoppe! 🍪🐒
Hi friends! I’m Jaime — the baker, creator, recipe tweaker, and heart behind Spider Monkey’s Bake Shoppe. 💛
If you’ve ever wondered where the name came from… “Spider Monkey” was the nickname my grandpa gave me when I was born. He called me that my entire life, and when it came time to name the bakery, I wanted something personal, meaningful, and full of love. So Spider Monkey’s Bake Shoppe was born in honor of him. 🥹
Baking has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in the kitchen learning from my mom, and over the years I taught myself even more through trial and error, Food Network marathons, online tutorials, and LOTS of butter and sugar. 😂
These days, our little family bakery has grown into something bigger than I ever imagined. From farmers markets and cookie classes to wholesale snack mixes and giant stuffed cookies at breweries, every single thing we make is created with love, creativity, and a whole lot of late evenings in the kitchen. 🍪✨
When we’re in production mode, you’ll usually find me organizing prep, baking cookies, planning classes, running markets, answering messages, and figuring out what crazy flavor idea we should try next. 😅
One thing that’s really important to me is creating baked goods that feel fun, nostalgic, comforting, and approachable — the kind of treats that make people smile after one bite.
