🎿 Pictured here is the RFIT HV 100’s. Medium flex and ideal for all-mountain skiing. Also accommodates wider feet and calves and an Easy Entry System for a smooth foot insertion and removal.

❄️ We’re slowly switching to our winter items here at the store, so over the next few weeks, please excuse our mess as we turn inventory over ❄️

This is a soapstone wood stove. Absolutely beautiful and perfect for about 1,600 square feet.

Some interesting facts-

🔥Hearthstone stoves are made and shipped right out of Vermont.

🪨 Each piece of stone has its own unique grayish coloring, quarried in Quebec, Canada.

🔥Soapstone retains heat much longer than cast iron or steel.

Thinking about a new wood stove for this winter? The cost of running one is way cheaper than oil and lasts a lot longer. We have several Hearthstone’s on display in our Farmington location.

More than a store—it’s a piece of Maine history. 💚

In 1974, Northern Lights became Maine’s first Jøtul distributor. Since then, generations of local families have trusted us for the stoves that warm their homes, the bikes that carry them along Maine trails and the skis that make our long winters something to look forward to. 🔥🚲🎿

For more than 50 years, Northern Lights’ attention to detail and strong reputation have led the way. We are grateful to Tom and Judy Upham, Marty Farnum, Todd Richard, and now Josh and Alicia Bell for building and continuing this incredible legacy.

The products may have changed over the years, but the heart of Northern Lights remains the same: local people helping their neighbors enjoy every season in Maine.
