So....I'm dedicating this one in honor of the Canadian Goose that I hit with my car under the Mammoth Coal Processing Plant conveyor that crosses Route 60, in London, West Virginia. 🤣 Don't worry....he survived! He picked himself up, dusted himself off, and then flew away....minus a cloud of feathers that was left behind. Lol 😂🤦‍♀️ In my defense....who would expect to hit a Goose there!? Lol

This Blue Jay burn, one more like the checkered-white butterflies ( I forgot to get a picture 🤦‍♀️) and at least one 18" checkerboard are also available at Canyon Rim now!

I delivered a whole lot of necklaces and earrings to Canyon Rim Visitors Center in New River Gorge National Park today. If you are in town for Bridge Day, they should have these ready for sale tomorrow! 😊

Eastern Tiger Swallowtail on a sunflower. Burned on a 9 x 12 piece of Basswood. The inspiration for this one came from a picture taken by Joey Jeffrey Rhodes of his own sunflowers. I'll attach his beautiful sunflower picture in the comments. 🌻😊

I just made a pre Bridge Day drop-off at the Canyon Rim Visitors Center's store in the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve! Hopefully I'll get some more done and delivered later today. The bridge will close tomorrow morning at 7:00 am for the Bridge Day 2024 BASE jumpers to start getting set up to jump!

I deleted yesterday's post because I really wasn't happy with my deer. I'm really critical of my work, probably way more than I should be, and it stressed me out so much that I had to delete it and then worked on it more today. I think he's looking a little bit better at least, so after talking with a great friend (Thank you Neil Cooper) I decided to repost. So here he is, my white-tail buck on basswood.
