I haven’t had a whole lot of time for crafty things; school and doing an overseas move can keep you pretty busy! But now our stuff (aka my crafty supplies) has arrived and I definitely have more planned! A bookmark is good for now though 📚

I recently I had the desire to sew by hand so I decided to make this bible cover/bag sewn by hand and then stitch some lyrics on. These lyrics are from one of my favorite songs we sing at GLACE Community Church Vicenza that inspire me in my everyday faith💛
Also, I used the tissue paper method where I put the words on tissue paper and stitches them on based on that and gotta say.. I probably won’t do that again! The paper constantly ripped and adjusted on its own.

If you must know, I had miscalculated the fabric needs for this length of skirt, so instead of making a different kind of skirt, I went with the high-low!
