2nd batch Mantra Marbles for November Soap 🧼 Challenge. Right side, with gold accent, is striped marble. Left side, with silver accent, is linear marble. Looking forward to cutting these tomorrow evening.

1st batch of Mantra Marbles for the November soap challenge. Red is striped marble, burgundy is linear marble, green is non-parieil. Batter thickened too much. So there are many air bubbles. Otherwise, once cleaned up, they are still really nice bars. Scented in Applewood Fir (Nature's Garden).

October Soap Challenge - Recycling Soap Scraps. Ciaglia, Terrazzo, Confetti, Mosaic.

Using scraps from trimming soaps and/or recycling previously made soaps that were undesirable in appearance or scent.

Participating in this months challenge, I learned the Ciaglia method which entails shredding the scraps into the smallest grains possible. Then adding the "soap grains" to new soap batter. This method creates a new soap that has a lovely appearance, allowing for additional designing, and a wonderful texture. This method of soap recycling is far superior to typical rebatching.

I ended up making six different soaps while learning the Ciaglia method. I have attached pics of the soaps and some of my making methods. I am having a difficult time choosing which two to enter into the challenge.

Snowman, tree, snowflakes and cloud inside. Scented wit Crisp Juniper.

Here are my entries for September Soap Challenge. The Challenge was to make transparent soap, then remelt the transparent soap and then use it to create designed soaps. I'm submitting the flag "Glory," for the Beginner category and the "Sapphire Geode" for the Bonus category.
