NOTICE: Water Main & Fire Hydrant Flushing
The Town of Felton Water Department will be flushing fire hydrants throughout the community beginning on June 8, 2026, through June 9, 2026, between the hours of 11am-3pm.
Hydrant flushing is part of our regular maintenance program to help ensure water quality and proper operation of the fire protection system.
During this time, residents may experience:
• Temporary discoloration of water
• Reduced water pressure
• Cloudy or rusty-looking water
If discoloration occurs, run cold water from a faucet for several minutes until the water clears. Residents are encouraged to avoid doing laundry during flushing hours to prevent possible staining.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we perform this important maintenance.

🚫 New No Parking Zone – Safety First! 🚫
The Lake Forest School District recently approached the Town of Felton with safety concerns regarding vehicles parking in front of Lake Forest North Elementary School in between the entry and exit of the front parking lot along E Main St.

To improve student safety, the curb has been painted yellow and new No Parking signs have been installed in this area.

⚠️ Please do not park in the designated no parking zone. Vehicles found in violation may be subject to a fine.
