If you look closely at our very first furniture launch, the seeds of the Salt Stone Collection were there.

Our ethos is rooted in the believe that every piece of furniture whether it’s anchored in a private morning nook or bustling hotel lounge is a foundation for a meaningful experience. It is the room. It carries the weight of the memories made around it and stands for the ones yet to come.

While we obsess over the structural integrity and precision, the true value isn’t in the construction of the piece itself. It is in the moments it facilitates. The late night hotel lobby conversation; the quiet breakfast that grounds your day, everyday, the permanent back drop to a life well lived and surrounded.

We designed the Salt Stone Collection to be an anchor. From the first sketches to material studies to precision stacked stone construction alongside our global artisans, every detail was chosen to with stand the weight of a busy hotel lounge or decades-long life in your home.

Design wasn’t meant to be disposable, it’s an expression, an experience.

The real reason we waited 1 full year to launch our stone collection.

After our first few launches, the pressure to “just keep dropping” was there. But the notebook was filled with a year’s worth of “no.”

No to the limited stone options we found domestically. No to fabrication that felt clunky instead of precise. And a hard no to the “fast furniture” cycle that treats your home like a disposable trend. We know sacrificing quality for a false retention of interested customers was just not worth it.

We weren’t looking for a factory; we were looking for a partner. Someone who understood that a table isn’t just a surface, it’s a gathering place. We had to look across the globe to find the precision our silhouettes demanded, and we didn’t stop until we found it.

Tomorrow, we’ll be sharing exactly what that global mastery looks like in the workshop to our first access list.
