Last weeks project was to lace in new 2-1/4” red oak into the kitchen. Remove a transition strip between a sitting room and the living space and replace with a custom header to make the transition more seamless and aesthetically pleasing. The header was two 2-1/4” red oak rows and two 4” white oak boards. The entire floor was sanded, stained chestnut color, then finished with 3 coats of Loba waterborne finish. Turned out awesome.

Did this one a couple weeks ago. Added hardwood to two rooms to eliminate all the carpet on main floor. Sanded the existing prefinished floor theoughout the rest of the main level. Stained a custom mix color with 3 coats of Loba finish.
