Sadly, since they are endangered, it is illegal to own one.
Happily, Ollie has found a new home at the Howell Nature Center.

Mary Elizabeth and I are vacationing in Northern Michigan. Yesterday we toured the remarkable mushroom houses in Charlevioux. Designed by self taught architect Earl Young from 1918 through the 1950s, the whimsical homes are a delight. The wavy organic roofs, boulders pulled from nearby Lake Michigan, and storybook designs were amazing!
✔️this off my bucket list!
